扭转乾坤

Based on the Carnegie Medal-winning novel by Margaret Mahy, this story follows sixteen-year-old Laura Chant, who lives with her mother and four-year-old brother Jacko in a poor new suburb on the edge of a partially demolished Christchurch, New Zealand. Laura becomes entangled in a supernatural battle against an ancient spirit that attacks Jacko and gradually drains his life force while rejuvenating itself. As the spirit grows younger, Laura uncovers her true identity and latent supernatural abilities, which she must master to save her brother's life.
