The story, written by Guillaume Renusson and Clément Peny and winner of the Audience Award for Best Screenplay for a First Feature Film at Angers’ European First Film Festival, centers on Samuel, who, following a recent tragedy, retreats to his chalet in the Italian Alps, a place frequented by migrants seeking to cross the border into France. Unsettled by the villagers' hostility and their organized hunts targeting migrants in the mountains, Samuel encounters Chehreh, a woman fleeing her war-torn homeland. Moved by her plight, Samuel resolves to assist her in making the perilous journey across the border, believing it will be a brief endeavor.
